Ian Adair's Encyclopedia of Dove Magic makes a good attempt to credit sources when they are known. This inventors index to the Encyclopedias does not replace the Encyclopedia's own index, because it only lists those effects with credited inventions. Also, there is some confusion about effects that Ian Adair himself invented or is only describing without revealing the source. Where there is any doubt as to the source of an effect, it is not included.

The completed index with all three volumes is also available as an Excel file which will be e-mailed free of charge by request to inventors and authors of dove magic.
