The Kremated King

Recreate one of the most frightening illusions of all time… “Burned Alive!”

The Effect:

Your victim is a King taken from a normal deck of playing cards. After the King is placed into the cremation chamber, you ACTUALLY SET FIRE TO IT! Once the flames have subsided, the spectator can see that the King’s appearance has now changed. The card appears charred and the King’s flesh has been burned off! The “Kremated King” is removed from the cremation chamber and may be given to the spectator as a unique souvenir.

A more “kid-friendly” version featuring an X-ray machine routine is also provided.

Disclaimer: This effect requires a custom-printed gaff card. Instructions are provided for making a simple and inexpensive version. However, knowledge of and experience in card-splitting and/or other techniques for creating/printing custom-made gaff cards are recommended if a professional quality card is desired.
