There are a great many sleight of hand moves to vanish small
objects, but I only use two... the most ordinary and natural of
them all. As a Wizard, I do not want anyone to know I can even
perform "sleight of hand." While young magicians
delight in learning fancy manipulations of cards and coins that
they call "flourishes," young Wizards must avoid such
showy displays because they take away from the "magic"
and turn it into a fancy juggling trick.
However, there are at least two sleights all magicians and
Wizards should learn, and those are the two retention vanishes I
describe in this article. My Wizard friend, Professor Kyva, poses
for the photos to make everything clear to the beginningest
beginner.
